I looked at the top NBA mock draft sites last night and here's what I found. Not that I'm a fan of mock drafts but I thought you might be interested. I looked at the top 5 mock draft sites online. Here's what I found. The number they were saying where they'd be picked. Some only went to 32. Darrell 8,11,14,14,20.  Brandon 15,19,23,26,34.  Mario 20,26. Sasha 56. Darnell 59. These numbers are still in flux of course but I thought it was some information you might find interesting.  The seniors and B-Rush are of course gone. Whatever is best for Shady. I hope at least Mario stays. Rock Chalk Jayhawks Go KU! !

And to add this. At least one of the sites had Blake...is it Griffin...from OU going and last I saw he isn't.  And hey...I got to add this. Funny thing. No Missouri Tigers were listed in any of the mock drafts. I didn't check any penal institution teams though. Maybe mutigerfan can do that? I couldn't resist. My so bad. Hawks rule. National Champions.

I really hope Mario sticks around. I honestly think that with the departure of so many players, he will be forced to step up his role which will really help his numbers. He'll get his steals and absolutely blow away the steals record at Kansas, and they will need him to score more. And it's not like he would be playing on a team that will be under the radar. With him back and the new players coming in, they will be contendors again. And finally, with the shot that he hit in the tourney there will be a lot of hype from the national media during his senior year....His stock will go up if he sticks around another year, in my opinion.

I can't even express how much I want Mario to come back but trying to justify why he should is pointless if he is told that he will be a first round pick.    Sure by coming back he could improve his draft status but there are some potential negatives to coming back.   Of course the first one is the possibility of an injury.  The other is less of a risk in my opinion but a risk nonetheless and that is if he doesn't perform well.  You don't build on a miracle shot like he had you capitalize on it.   And that means while it is fresh in everyone's mind.

Personally I think if he comes back he wil have a tremendous senior season and greatly improve his draft status which could equate to him being able to set his family up for this generation and beyond but I will also understand if he opts to go pro.

Good luck Mario... oh and please stay.

It would be great to get Mario back but I doubt thats going to happen. We could be in the hunt for back to back titles with him though considering the great talent we have coming in next year.
