Now that it seems Jake Long is a Phin, how many rushing yards will Ronni Brown have?

I said 1200-1400. I do think he's capable of getting more than that (that's only an average of about 85 yards per game), but I think Ricky Williams, Lorenzo Booker, and any back we may draft this weekend will take away a bunch of carries from him.

Plus, we'll probably be playing from behind much of the season, which means fewer rushing plays.

good call jtjmas...using ricky and lobo will definately cut into the carries...hopefully we can score early and then let those babies run...(wishful thinking)

Thanks to Jake Long being draft #1-- John Beck, Ronnie Brown are on their way to the pro-bowl- at least Ronnie is.

Definitely going to help out anyone who is under center with the beefed up ground game.

I agree as well that Ricky willtake some carries but LoBo will be more of a reciever.  I also said 1200-1400.  I see 1300+ actually.

Whoever said under 1000 I would like to know your reasoning.  An injury is possible of course but he should be fully recovered from his knee surgery.

Ricky will end up with more running yards then Brown does...

I think that Ronnie will have to stay healthy for the entire season before we get too excited about how many yards he might have. I say he will get over a thousand, but we will have possibly 3 other guys in the back field too.

If Ronnie Brown stays healthy, i think he could break the 2000 yard mark. Yes they will be playing from behind alot, but did that stop him last year? No. He was a beast before he got hurt. And saying other backs will take his carries...he ave. over 5 yards a carry last year and was leading all RB in the league in catches before he got hurt. So with that production on the ground and his ability to catch it will be hard to bench him (if he's 100% healthy).
