Sorry, dont know how that happened. As I was trying to say. Caps played awesome. You guys will be a strong team for a while. Carolina stinks. That guy is a joke. Great series best of luck to the caps next season.

It was an intense game. I just want to hear the explanation why one ref waved off Philly's second goal and they still gave it to them.

Other than that, the Caps had their chances and didn't execute. Poti should never have tripped which cost us the game.

Carolina does stink. Of course thats why they aren't in the playoffs anyway. We'll be hanging the division banner in DC for the next 5 years easily.

Yeah...think that was one of the best series I have every seen....just wish the refs would swallow their whistles.  I think 71 power plays between two teams in the playoffs is rediculous...over 10 penalties a game???...in the playoffs????  Good luck the rest of the way Flyers...go beat the Habs to keep the cup in the states!!!

Oh well, definitely disappointing for us Caps fans but congrats goes out to the Flyers because it's over and it was a great series so no excuses or bitching and moaning.  Say what you will about the refs but we did have our chances too.  It was still a successful season for the Caps as far as I'm concerned and I'm already pumped to see us take it up a notch next year.  Plus, I'm also looking forward to their post-season equipment sale because I need some sticks and gloves ASAFP!

Tizzle, I see you haven't got over the blowing your team did at season's end, and you certainly can't say we had the easier ride because we played the same team. What you say may of been true but nobody cares, everyone forgot about Carolina as soon as they didn't make it. Everybody enjoyed watching the great young Capitals team that fought hard for essentially 8 games if you count the extra time. Next season you guys will be lucky to be close to the Capitals next season, Carolina was young and hot a couple of years ago but I think it's clear the Capitals have surpassed them.
