Looks like we get San Jose boys, which is really what i would prefer.. why you ask, well i thought about it and even though we could of had home ice i would rather play san jose because their ice is basically our ice... We play great there and it has been known i mean if you watch the games Razor and Ralph talk about how good they are in the Shark Tank when playing.. So i think this will work out to our advantage big time... Still should be a good series though bitter rivalry

I like the fact we are playing San Jose next, too.....but for a different reason.  I think it's best for us because of the experience we have against them.  I feel it is always easier to prepare for a best-of-7 series against a team you've played more than anyone else (excluding the other teams in the Pacific) the whole season.  Would I have liked to have home-ice advantage??  No doubt--especially with the way we played at the AAC last series (finally!).  I agree that we play well on their ice, but this is the first time we'll be playing them in the "second season", and I don't know if we can duplicate the awesome 2-0 lead we took against the Ducks.  It's possible, but unlikely.  It's not that I don't have confidence, but the Sharks are a much more disciplined team, and they won't take the idiotic penalties to put us on the PP for 6 goals in two games.  The fact still remains that we seem to play much more determined, focused hockey on the road, and I know we can take at least one of the first two at SJ.  This series will definitely go at least 6 games.......and let's hope the outcome is similar to the last one!  GO Stars......BELIEVE!!!

Barry Melrose picked the Sharks to win this series against the Stars.  He said the Sharks are the best team in the NHL.   Dallas must stop Joe Thornton from killing them every game and limit scoring opportunities to Milan Michalek, Jonathan Cheechoo and Jeremy Roenick.  The Stars can win if they hold these 4 guys down in the scoring column.

Best of luck boys!! I think that it's a curse that Melrose has picked the Sharks as these sort of things make you feel good for a moment and never seem to work out! It'll be two excellent road teams going at it and should be a great series! I'm just happy to be watching more Sharks hockey.

GBalways......I told you that the Stars were playing better than the Quacks and that there was nothing to worry about.....the better team won!

Can't wait for tommorrow night.

GO SHARKS!

This is going to be the best series this round. Yes the Stars seem to have the Sharks number at home, but they have all been pretty close games.

These two teams have a playoff history and I'm sure alot will be added to it for this series. It was the first round matchup. Remember Bryan Marchment's hit on Joe Nieuwendyk's knees? Then Owen Nolan checking Ed Belfour into the boards? Stars won that series in 6. That was ten years ago.

In 2000 the Stars handled the Sharks in 5 games in the second round.

This will be a long, close series. I'm sure I'll grow a few more grey hairs for the next two weeks because I'm sure this will go 6-7 games.

I'm a Sharks fan and I hope for the best, but I'm pretty sure that the winner of this series will make it to the Stanley Cup.

Good Luck to both teams!

Go Sharks!

Hell yeah up 2-0 after taking two on the road in San Jose!!! Looks like the series against the Ducks, but a little more aggresive on both sides. There have been some hits and alot of confrontation so far in the series...

The Stars coming back home up two games is awesome.  I dunno if anyone else noticed how loud that arena was last series.. But im pretty sure that there will be nobody ever second guessing our fanhood for the Dallas Stars. They are getting the most respect and response from our fans than any of our other teams right now.  Finally Hockey is back atop for the Dallas fans. Bring the cup back to Dallas baby!!!

Go Stars!!!!!!!!
