Sigh. I'm getting fatigued from arguing with all the folks who don't seem to believe that it's possible for somebody to have committed a rape and not get charged or prosecuted. The reality is that most rapes go unreported, and a disproportionate percentage (compared to other crimes) of alleged rapes are not prosecuted. The fact that a case doesn't go to trial doesn't mean that the accused is innocent. This is particularly true in rape cases. I suspect JoePa has better info than we do and isn't sorry he kicked Scott off the team, despite the eventual decision not to prosecute. I think BC is sufficiently convinced of this guy's guilt to kick him off the team.
The Duke LAX case, if they were really innocent, is the exception, not the rule.
