Who has a better chance of winning their leagues championships?

I voted for the Flyers simply because of the strength of the Celtics this year.  I don't see anyone beating Boston in the Eastern Conference playoffs.  I don't follow hockey that much but it does kind of seem like the NHL Eastern Conference is up for grabs as there's not really a single dominant team (the 8 playoff teams finished within 10 points of each other).

What you said is right. The Celtics are just to hard to beat.

I picked the Flyers because I just don't see ANYONE from the East beating the West rep in the NBA Finals, whereas there is at least some balance the the NHL.

Right now it looks like the Sixers if they can stay consistent. I think that the Flyers have a more realistic chance though. If it werent for us screwing up Game 1 we would have great momentum against the Canadiens.

I selected the Flyers. They played great tonight in game 2. They should be up 2 games right now. The sixers look good, but they are very young with very little experience.  It's a great time to be a Philly fan right now.

The only problem with what you said about being up by 2 games to none is that they should be but they aren't. That is what worries me about the Flyers... their ability to lose games after they pretty much won them.

love the Sixers heart and they've gelled well this year, i just think the Flyers can match up with any team in the playoffs. there are some teams with a definite edge on paper against the Sixers but hey thats why the games arent played on paper right?
