	They have him playing left field tonight against the Indians. For any of you up watching the second game of the doubleheader. I know he's hitting under 0.200 and he's a slow starter and all of that. But he just missed a sure flyball he should of caught. Thank goodness it landed in foul territory. Too early to say signing him was a bust? Sure it is, if he starts hitting and gets his 29 homers and bats 0.290+ and drives on 90 or 100+. I can live with that. I do expect him to play defense though and catch flyballs he gets to. He over ran this one. Bannister is pitching well. C'mon Royals!

	And Butler is not the answer at 1st base. Sheesh. He just missed one a regular first baseman would have got. And they take Bannister out. That figures. Sometmes its hard to be a Royals fan. Most times these days. Go Royals!

	They took Bannie out because he was hit in the shin bone with a line drive. You think you could plant the same after that? Butler will have his moments at first base, he's still learning. At this point we almost need to trade defense for offense. Guillen doesn't get many hits, but when he does hit the ball it is usually for extra bases. We have enough singles hitters in the line-up right now, leave him be.

	Guillen doesn't get many hits, but when he does hit the ball it is usually for extra bases. We have enough singles hitters in the line-up right now, leave him be. Guillen is striking out at an alarming rate and he's left tons of runners on base. With some better situational hitting his RBI total of 9 could have been doubled. I'm not happy with him yet either. He didn't break .200 in spring training and hasn't reached it once this season. Its high time for him to earn that enormous paycheck he's getting.

	Guillen jsut threw to the wrong base allowing the go ahead run to score from first on a routine single. This is not the first time he has made this mistake this year. This one hurts.

	hes horrible and i know its early but i think the Royals should start thinking about sending him down in the lineup to 8 or 9 and pena needs to go to the minors right away, hes not worth the paper his contract is printed on. neither of them are.

	I could live with Pena if the lineup wasn't putting up 3 hit games as it has. I have nothing positive for Guillen, he was on the juice, won't ever cheer for him. He does no favors messing up routine flyballs. At least it's still fun though, GO Royals!!!!!!

	The Royals signed Jose Guillen for games like tonight: 2 for 3, 1 HR, 5 RBI so far this evening. If he can break out of this early season slump, he can be a key contributor for the Royals this year and in the future. Don't get me wrong, he has ticked me off this season so far, but nights like tonight give me some hope.
