KU basketball adds Temple

Kansas announced that it has scheduled a home-and-home series in men’s basketball with Temple, starting with a meeting in Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 20, 2008. The Jayhawks will travel to the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia to face the Owls in 2009.

The Owls join a 2008 schedule that includes Tennessee at home and Michigan State and Arizona on the road. The Jayhawks will also play in the CBE Classic at the Sprint Center, which likely will bring Washington, Syracuse and Florida to Kansas City.

I already can't wait for next year...

KU has good OOC games scheduled most years. This past year several teams which are usually ranked (and were until after they played KU) had worse than usual records, making the schedule look softer than it really was. Games against Boston College, Georgia Tech, Arizona, SoCal aren't what you expect from schools looking to duck away from stiff competition.
