The Saints have the best offer for Lito Sheppard on the table as of yesterday. But their also in talks with the Giants for Jeremy Shockey.

No, we will not trade Roy. That would give Millen an excuse to draft another receiver.

Roy isn't going anywhere. I'll be glad when the draft is over and we can be done with this crap.

This just shows how poor the media do their jobs.  They keep mentioning Williams, Bolden and Johnson.  They never speak to a Lions official only the Cowboys or Redskins.  They never mention why the Lions would make such a stupid deal or reasoning why other than to say he is in his last year of his contract.  I have news for all the stupid media people.  We can franchise him and deal with the contract next year if we cn't sign him.  Why would we ever trade away one of our top players for a low pick or to pick up Henne?  He went to Michigan which is anout the only logic Werner has for his comments.  Sometimes I want to be able to interiew the people in the know to see if they actually know someone or speak out of their asses.

I rememeber watching a hockey game and John davidson, a respected national announcer made up a story on air when it wqas totally false.  He went on and on how the player said this and that and it never happened.  I think they are easily manipulated and feel like they can say anything to be the center of a fake scoop.  ESPN is usually the king of this kind of poor reporting.
