You can still have a D- rated defense on paper and still have the best defense in the league. No one can score when the Colts pump in crowd noise. So the 0 point average at home and between 30 and 35 point average on the road, means that they have a bad defense, but number 1 in the league.

Thank You Bro ,you saved me a lot of typing . Everything you said is right on the money .With our guys healthy  we could have beat anybody . We could have beat em with Norv or Marty . I liked Marty alot . He made the Chargers winners again . Norv walked into a pretty well set up venue. I had my doubts about him but the Chargers  had a lot of luck last  year that they didn't have before . The ball bounced OUR and Cromartie"s way  alot .  I am looking forward to this year . I wish we would have kept Lorenzo Neal . He got hurt  but he is a proven All Pro that is not done yet . like a couple of other guys I know  hmmmmmm  Jr Seau  # 55 and Rodney Harrison  #37

GO CHARGERS   season ticket holder since 1993 and fan since 1960

i don't know the Patriots were staked last year, I honestly think that the Giants were extremely lucky. But i think if L.T. were 100% they would have lost by 3 at most but probably would win. I do miss Marty, but know that we are used to Norv we will do a lot better this season.

I also think the Giants got lucky, but they also did what everyone should of done and Blitz Brady a lot. Michael Strahan and Umenyiora were just running thru the Pats Offensive line. So they got lucky in a sense that they did something that a lot of teams knew, but they rather play it safe than then try it.

Giants came through in that game.

The Giants were good and LUCKY

Their defense was awsome in getting to Tom Brady. and shutting down a respectable running game.

They got lucky on the David Tyree securing the ball against his helmet while doing a backwards sumersalt...

Espn announcers on the Monday after were calling it the greatest play in superbowl history. WHAT!

That play makes the superbowl blooper film. Right along side Garo Yeprenian trying to throw a pass on a botched FG against the Redskins. Redskins returned the batted pass attempt for a TD.

Why is one a blooper and the other the greatest?

The best thing about the Giants winning is that we fans won't have to listen to or read Patriots fans boasting about the greatest team in NFL history for the next 30-40 years. Some like to say they're sick of the 72 Dolphins players bragging. They're fairly tame compared to what the patties fans would be like

GO Chargers

i think this is the major difference between norv turner being the Chargers coach and marty being the coach:

with marty, we lost a playoff game we should have won(Patriots game in the 2007 playoffs)

with norv, we won a playoff game we should have lost(Colts game in the 2008 playoffs)

so i dont see how you can compare them

with norv, we won a playoff game we should have lost (Colts game in the 2008 playoffs)

So you're saying that after all the mistakes that happened in the Chargers/ Patriots game, on the Chargers part, all the bad coaching calls, the rare use of LT in the second half, the dropped balls, the muffled punt return. We should of won?

Yet the Chargers play a rough game, away, in Indy against the Colts who threw record interceptions and made huge mistakes partly because of the Chargers presence on Defense, a terrible Referee call-back of Antonio Cromartie's interception for a touchdown on a so-called holding call on Eric Weddle? Your saying we should of lost?

I just don't see that at all.
