EP ~

What Feeley did back in 2002 seems irrelevant right now -- seems Kolb has passed him on the depth chart.

depth behind McNabb is pretty much like the depth behind 80% of teams in NFL... if it gets to them... trouble. Jake falls in Carolina... trouble, Don gets hurt in Philly... not good outlook for my birds, Romo gets hurt... who's his back up? they keeping Brad Johnson?

Pope ~

As of right now, it's Brad Johnson behind Romo.  But Jerry Jones has talked of adding a "veteran backup" at that position -- it's not clear whether that's in addition to Johnson or at Johnson's expense.

i read recently (i think Rotoworld, or fanball.com) that he'd not likely be kept for next year. who knows if it's true.

anyway what teams have depth at QB that's deep and or proven? Arizona, Bills (kinda... maybe not), Chargers (love Volek as a back up), Rams (T. Green), Skins (Collins).

what teams have depth at QB that's deep and or proven? See, now you guys are twisting my point. Yes, if your starter goes down you're in pretty big trouble but you don't really "plan" for that to happen. When you start the season with your starter coming off a major injury and your team is supposed to be a contender you need to have a good back-up plan. Garcia was a no-brainer but he would have cost Lurie's wife some of her art money.

Axe~

Admittedly, Feeley's 2002 games are a distant memory, but he is still a better backup than any other QB in te EAST.  BUT Iagree with the other posters.  If EITHER/ANY of te starters go down, it's trouble for the rest.  I just think Feeley has done and is still young enough to do it.  But I will admit some cards must fall his way to be a positive force in Philly if D-Mac goes down.

Yes, it DOES look like Kolb has passed him on teh depth chart.  BUT--Would Reid leave him out there if he faltered???  I dunno!!

Then stop feeding his greed and buying tickets.

so why are you even talking? Aaron's got one career TD pass. your back up is Brohm. why are you even talking about Garcia still? that's two years ago now... and don't know if you noticed but he's not been as reliable as Tampa would have liked.... that and now the dude's almost 40... Very expensive for a back up.

did you get laughed out of the Green Bay boards? cause it looks like it's been MONTHS since you posted there. true fan, huh? It's cool keep spoutin' off on Philly's board, Preaching nonsense. We enjoy the laughs.

Whoever is calling farve a legend is smoking crack.  He was above average player. This is another thing I love about philly's "so-called" passionate fans. They need the media to help form their opinions. Sal Paolantonio writes a book called "most over-rated and most under-rated" and the whole passionate heard of cattle rush out to have their opinions formed for them. Of course Favre is in Sal's irrelevant opinion, over-rated. That's okay you mindless fools that need people to think for them can continue to call the leagues only 3 time MVP and superbowl winner just "above average". Meanwhile Sally claims that Cunningham was under-rated!!!! Please remember this when you're having other do your thinking for you that in order to sell books you need to have controversy. I hope you enjoy your reading material 'cause Sal just suckered you into giving him your money.

Not to mention he abused drugs.  Ricky Williams gets banned and Favre gets blown by John Madden. Hey that's a great comparison, you sound intelligent. Favre NEVER tested positive for anything but admitted to having a problem AND remedied it. Williams failed three tests, and said he would rather smoke weed than play football. Gee, I wonder why Ricky was dealt with so harshly.

I can sincerly say that the NFL will be a better place without (as my boy Carp would say) tears and beers favre. Another clever statement. It's always good when an icon leaves the game. Well at least you admit in your sentence that you need someone else to thing for you! Whoever "your boy" Carp is must have some really thoughtfull opinions.
