I am a Saints fan and rate their draft in my top three.

1.  Miami--I think that they had the best draft. They secured the top tackle, a first round talent DE, and a quarterback who could be the best in this class.  Their draft went a long way toward improving the franchise.

2.  Kansas City--Due to sheer volume of picks KC had a big weekend.  Dorsey should be a great player.  Albert reminds me of Larry Allen and should beef up their line.  DaJuan Morgan looks like a good player too.

3.  New Orleans--They only had six picks, but drafted to value better than any other team (with the exception of miami).  Dorsey received most of the attention, but Ellis could very well be a better and more lasting pro.  Porter has shutdown ability with speed and can be a factor in the return game.  In the fifth round, they essentially drafted players projected to go into the second and third rounds (Nicks, Pressley).  Mehlhaff fills a need and was arguably the drafts best kicker.  Some projected Arrington as a fourth round receiver--he was taken in the seventh.  Another Colston--we'll see. . .

Worst Drafts

1.Baltimore--Joe Flacco? They really reached here for an unproven quarterback.  It seems that every year a quarterback is overrated because of arm strength.  I think Flacco may be that guy.

2.Tennessee--Chris Johnson?   A luxury pick.  Vince Young needs help in the passing game.  The Titans already have a decent running attack, yet they waste another first round opportunity to upgrade WR.

3.Atlanta--Matt Ryan at 3?  I'm sorry folks, but I am not a believer.  Atlanta could have aced this draft.  Take Dorsey--new face for team.  Take Henne or Brohm with the second pick.  They totally reached for Sam Baker who many people projected to go into the second round.

Overrated/Underrated

Overrated draft-Dallas--They had two picks in the first round and didn't impress with either IMO.  They chose Felix Jones over Rashard Mendenhall.  Mendenhall was a legit top ten talent by many evaluators.  Felix Jones was slated as a late first rounder.  Bad move.  Instead of taking Jenkins with their second first rounder, they should have taken Devin Thomas.  In fact they didn't grab a WR, arguably their biggest need.  Or if they keep Jenkins they should have grabbed Doucet in the second round.  If TO gets hurt this team will struggle.

Underrated-New England--They took the best linebacker, Mayo who will give them the speed and versatility at LB that they need.  Crable, O'Connel, Ruud were good picks.

The Chiefs had by far the best draft day and Dallas was a distant second.

Don't get emotional.  I am just taking a different perspective.

Let's not kid ourselves here, Dallas has a tremendous need at WR.  They did nothing to address that need.  If you want to keep Jenkins fine, but they should have drafted Doucet in the second.  Owens is your only legitimate receiver.  Glenn cannot be counted on for health reasons.  Crayton is a slow possession receiver.  Hurd and Stanback are journeyman at best, they do not scare offenses.  Look what happened when TO was hurt in December.  I cannot stand TO, but I realize he is tremendously valuable to your team.  If you lose him or negate him you can really hamper Romo's game.

As a Saints fan, I should tell you that Reggie Bush should have been drafted much later.  Bush and Jones' speed served them well in college.  In the NFL, everyone has speed. The Cowboys should have taken the best back in this class, IMO, Mendenhall who has a much more complete game.

I still maintain that Thomas, Sweed, or Kelly went undrafted in the first due to past history with first round WRs.  The history scared teams away from some compelling talents.

The Cowboys played it safe, which isn't necesarily bad, but their picks were not very inspiring.

Sos Mr. Saints fan does Ellis remind you of this hay name Johnaton Sullivan?

So every dtackle drafted by the Saints is necesarily John Sullivan?  Fuzzy logic.

Ellis could be the best dtackle in this draft.  He may not dominate but his college production certainly hints that he will.

Sed Ellis was a tremendous pick that most reasonable people recognize.

Well only time will tell of course but I think most team picked up on needs and some good value.

I will say that Pitt getting Rashard was a huge steal, dudes a beast.
