One Low Post Player away.....

Watching the sixers and the playoffs has been pretty encouraging for the future of philly basketball.  Our stregnths and weaknesses are pretty obvious, a young athletic low post force to add to this team.  Move Iggy to the 2, Thad to the 3 and sign a free agent this year...

My favorite would be Marion if he opted out of his current contract. Brand would have to opt out too, and i think that Josh SMith is a restricted free agent.

Any thoughts?

I would love a 100% Elton Brand here but i read numerous times he is staying a Clipper. As for the other three Jamison, Marion and Smith i like all three and they are relatively the same size so if we could get one i would take Josh Smith he is 7 years younger then Marion and 9 years younger then Jamison and we all know about the way he gets up, i think he would be the best fit of those three although i would be happy with any of them. Of the four i think Brand would be the only guy to totally change the face of the team and guarantee the Sixers a better record and higher seed.

Yeah I must admitt Elton Brand would be fantastic.  My only concern would be the injury, would that slow him down. The sixers are runnin with lots of success, could he keep up?

This is by far the biggest offseason for the 76ers in a long time.  Got to lock up their own players and spend some money!  Iggy does not deserve a max contract
