	While that is true. Dirk and Avery wanted the Kidd trade more than anyone else in the organization. I think Donnie Nelson is the one who needs to go.

	Exactly. Avery did what he could with what he had. Cuban should of never traded away half the team for a washed up point guard. Now he has set the team back imo. They just need to clean house. Keep Dirk, Bass, and maybe a few others. Trade the rest. The Mavs will be stuck with Josh Howard too whick sucks. His stock fell through the ground after that playoff performance and the radio stunt.

	Avery was not the problem in Dallas, nor was Devin Harris or the Jason Kidd trades, this has been a trend for a while now. Dallas is a team that is built to do well in the regular season and if they are hot then win some games in the regular season. They remind me of PHX before the Shaq trade, which means lacking a big body who is ready to bang and play defense and provide offense. PHX knew this and they traded for Shaq; however they didn't count on Shaq becoming a second class role player that hardly showed up on either end of the floor. Dallas will never bring home a title until they address the front court; Dirk is good, yes, but he much more prefers to slash and shoot jumpers then battle inside. Its no secret; look at the past winners: Spurs - have Duncan Miami - had a Shaq that was able to get up and down the floor Detroit - the whole team loves to bang and rebound and play D Lakers - see Miami

	I think it's a foolish firing. Johnson's a good coach. I think the chemistry just wasn't right after Kidd got there, regardless of who lobbied to get him there. I think had the given Avery the off-season to work through the bugs, get to camp, and refine the chemisty now with Kidd in the mix, they would be even better for 08-09.

	Typical Cuban....Avery wasn't the problem. In fact, there really isn't a problem. They just lost to a better team. But, Cuban has to blame someone since he acts like a spoiled brat. Bad move Mavs, Avery was the best coach you have ever had.

	He's the one who wanted to make the Kidd trade... Actually reports have been that the Kidd trade didn't really become serious until Avery went to Cuban and said we have to make this trade. So they are both reponsible for the trade. To the idea that Avery is the greatest coach ever: He took over a built team. I bet many new coaches would have loved to take over a team like Avery did. No doubt he is a quality coach but this whole he is the best coach the Mavericks have ever had...not buying it...I think you have to give that to Don Nelson who built the team that Avery had for the past 3 years pretty much. I remember how everybody called him a fool when he made that draft day trade for Dirk, an unproven player from ge
