	This is a great job by College baseball. Omaha is a great tradition, and everyone wants to play at Omaha. Omaha is the symbol for College Baseball greatness. The one thing I dont agree with tho, is that they are going to get rid of Rosenblatt. That is also a symbol, but I guess the city thinks they should get a bigger stadium. (too bad Creighton and the Omaha Royals never get any people to come to their game, so they dont need a bigger stadium) Overall great job by the NCAA

	Omaha nurtured the CWS and built it into an event that becomes THE draw of the summer. I am thrilled that history will continue for my hometown. I doubt another community would support it the way Omaha does. The fans tend to adopt the teams that come in and appreciate high-level play regardless of the schools on the field. As for the stadium, that's a sign of the event's growth. It's now big enough that other communities would bid to host it with bigger revenue streams based on stadium naming rights, luxury suites, etc. unless Omaha stepped up. The city did and the NCAA respected that with revenue paybacks that will more than cover the debt on the new stadium. This is a stadium deal that works for the community. Great job NCAA for keeping baseball on The Road to Omaha!

	This was a great move by the NCAA and the city of Omaha. College baseball has come a long way in the past 20 years, but I'm not quite sure if the CWS could maintain the crowds that Omaha gets if it were to move to another city. The new stadium actually has more to do with the NCAA than the city of Omaha. The NCAA would prefer an stadium with nearby hotels, an open concourse, and a better area for fans outside of the stadium that is free of alcohol. Omaha could have remodeled Rosenblatt for about 1/3 the price of a new stadium, but word around town was that Omaha would get a 5 maybe 10 year extension at best. Oklahoma City, Orlando, and Indianapolis were 3 cities that have nicer stadiums that the NCAA would consider if Omaha opted for a Rosenblatt renovation. The new stadium itself isn't going to be much bigger than Rosenblatt. Currently, Rosenblatt seats about 23,000 people and the new stadium would seat 24,000 with set aside for expansion to 30,000. I do agree that Rosenblatt is the symbol of the CWS and it will be dearly missed. At the same time, it was necessary for Omaha to do this in order to get a 20 year extension on the CWS. When it's all said and done, 60 years in the same venue for an NCAA championship event is pretty impressive...

	It is sad that Rosenblatt will be last, but it is right next to the world class zoo that wants the land for expansion. Progress sometimes means regression. It sounds Orwellian, but its true.
