Im originally from Momence IL. about 45 min south of Chicago. My uncles best friend played for the Steelers in the 70's (Ted Petersen) I became a fan of the Steelers when I was a child at the age of 6 and wore his Superbowl 13 championship ring. I love the grit and rough style of defense that the 90's Steelers played. As a child and teenager my favorite players were Greene, Lloyd and Woodson. As I got into H.S. I had more respect for the players like Dawson who made the way for every Steeler RB. I am in the U.S Air Force now staioned in New Jersey and attend Steelers training camp every year. I would have to say right now my favorite player on the roster right now is Heath Miller. I love Mendenhall being from Illinois and loving all the Fightin' Illini teams. Thats how it all started with me. Go Steelers!!!

I root for Jesus, but I'm not from Bethlehem... the biblical Bethlehem. Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is packed with Steelers fans, however.

"Amen" ringleader! RCase28715, Steeler fans are every where. Familiar with the ranch house in Charlotte? I had the best shrimp coctail and watched a great Steeler game at that fine establishment. Don't forget, the first Panther coach (Capers) was a Steeler assistant and Mr. Rooney paid a fine for letting a team (Panthers) talk to him early. I still think he did it (paid that fine) outta of respect/loyalty to the league. He was helping an expansion team get started (why else would a team president grant permission to an expansion team to talk to one of his coaches?). Hey, stay loyal to your team, some day there maybe teams talking about the Panthers like the Steeler's.

I also live in Arkansas, and I'm a DIE-HARD black and gold fan.  If you want to extend that offer, I'd definately take you up on it!

Born in Greensburg but I grew up in Maryland.  I've taken my Steeler loyalty to N.C., Atlanta and now San Antonio.  There's always a Steeler bar.  S.A. and Austin don't have true Steeler bars where they only show the Steeler game and Steeler fans dominate.  Charlie Brown's in S.A. is ok, but their big screen has a lousy picture.  The Tavern in Austin has a good group of fans.  The Purple Goose in Baltimore is a pretty good Steeler bar.  McTighe's in ATL is closed due to new development, but it was great while it lasted.  By Far the best Steeler Bar I've ever been to is Harold's Cave Creek Corral outside of Phoenix.  I was there for a game vs. the Texans and the atmosphere was like a playoff game.  If you're in PHX on gameday it's a must.
