This is a thread for how the NBA used to be.

I'll start.

Game 4, 1987 NBA Finals, Lakers vs Celtics the parque Boston Garden.

Second Period, Greg Kite fouls James Worthy hard and Worthy get upset and goes after him. Several punches thrown, both benches clear. What happens???

Earl Strom (the ref) talks to both of them. Tec for you (worthy), Tec for you (Kite), now cut it out, PLAY BALL.

Let that happen today and see what happens and you wonder why the NBA isn't good anymore.

God bless actual sports, before it became about marketing and "protecting your investment." I agree completely.
