I'd like to say first, but the toughest division in the NFL is only getting tougher.  The Colts' reign will soon end!

We really have a legit chance of winning our division, but so does Indy and Jax.  It is going to be a messy fight, but it is anyones division (expect for the Texans).  All three have tough schedules and all three have the potential of beating each other.

The Titans, Colts, and Jags could easily have a 2-2 record against each other across the board.  It will be interesting.  The last game of the season against Indy might actually matter this time, so we will need to bring our A game and mostly likely so will they.  There will be blood . . .

Times like this I wish we were lucky enough to be in that cake walk division the AFC east that pretty much guarantees you 6 easy wins.  Although, come to think or it,  watch out for the Bills this season.  I think they may be the Browns of this year!  So there are still at least 4 automatic wins in the East.

This is a tough one. I picked last year's record correctly prior to the start, but I have a strong feeling that the Jags are going to be a serious force in this division. They've retained a lot of talent and if healthy, Garrard is very impressive. I really believe we know how to manage the Colts more and more and it will be just a test of will and maturity this year.  The Texans can always pull out  a fluke here and there but I still don't see them turning the corner into any real competition for anyone in this conference.

I think that we will finish 2nd if we dont get a big name reciever. If we get Chad Johnson, Anquan Boldin, or Roy Williams I think we can win our division. The Colts are slowing up a little and I think that we have one of the best defenses in the league. Our D will give nightmares to all the quaterbacks with our D line. If Jevon Kearse can keep healthy our D line will be unstopable.

trophywife - I have a strong feeling that the Jags are going to be a serious force in this division.

Thank you for recognizing, your thought is greatly appreciated.

I really don't want to get out on the limb on this one.  Reason being:  I don't know how well the offense (specifically VY) will adapt to Heimerdinger's offense.

I strongly belive that we'll have a top 5 defense this year, but if our offense fails to put up enough points to win games, and we consistently depend on Rob Bironas' left leg, then we may find ourselves in the same boat as last year.

I'm going to wait until August before I make my prediction.

I could not agree more about the division - it was the toughest last year and it seems like it will be tougher this year.  I think the even the Texans will surprise a lot of teams this year.  The Jags seem to be moving in the right direction and closing in on the Colts. and the Cols ... well, they're the Colts.  What else can I say about that.

I would love to see the Titans win the Division but it's going to be rough! But it can be done!

I see Jax winning it, while Tenn gets the wild card and finishes 2nd....
