I get it . . . Dodd hates Michigan

Two years ago we were one cheesy late hit call away from playing for the NC instead of the buckeyes.  Most of the games have been close, generally turning on a single piece of improvisation by Troy Smith. 

Lots of Michigan fans have said Get Over It, after the extra two seconds that allowed the Michigan win over PSU in 2005. It is now your turn to Get Over It.

Growing up in Philly, I actually USED to hate PSU -- because they bolted for the Big 10 and left the Big East high and dry during their formation of the league. I actually despised them more than Pitt, even while attending WVU.

I now have a new respect for them. I always considered them to be a "the world hate us school" or a "we're better than everyone school" or "it's Happy Valley" or "Just plain ole us school".  Now I see that honor goes to the fans of UofM.

I had friend graduate from PSU and I told them they are pompous and arrogant. Now, I take it all back. They really aren't that arrogant at all. I have come to know the UofM fans and they take the cake by far.

I think UofM has great and super-talented players. I think RR is an egotistical SOB who left the kids who listened to him like a father on the side of the road when these kids needed someone most so I now have NO respect for the man and I do wish no success for him. UofM just happens to be his resting place for the next two years at least. Consider the UofM to be a casualty of my own internal college football battle.

Having said that, I don't this the SUPER-TALENTED UofM players on the roster today and next year fit the mold of the offense. Time will tell but I don't think RR will have too much time on his side in this particular scenario.

Fishtown right you have to be from Fishtown? Really WV  fans you need to go away, say all you want about Michigan but you don't play us we are not in the same Conf etc... It would be like a Michigan fan talking smack all the time to UCLA we dont care what you guys say at all thanks for Rich Rod good luck with your new coach and season.I can also understand the being from Philly thing as I am and I hate every team thought as most Philly people do but get over Rich Rod really you and your fans are making a pretty good program look like a lower class version of Ohio St .

I wonder what SOS is trying to compensate for with his self-proclaimed huge knowledge of UM football.  I think I (and the kids in his high school gym class) know the answer to this question.  And yes, before you even go there SOS, this is an ad hominem attack from ejumfan.  I've grown tired of dominating your unsubstantiated football speculation arguments, so I've moved right on to personal attacks.  Admittedly this is petty, but it is my only form of catharsis since I can't punch you in the face.  I just wanted to tell you that I think you are a hateful, unoriginal and redundant dildo who either needs to get his a$$ kicked or got his a$$ kicked too much by the big mean jocks and football players in school. 

Also, as a therapeutic exercise, I think you need to admit to yourself and everyone else on this site that UM completely owns PSU and MSU, and that this fuels your hatred and obsession.  You are so ready to embrace speculation about UM's future prospects, yet you seem to competely ignore facts or answer any tough questions.  And if you are finally ready to answer a tough question, answer this:  What kind of a douchebag incessantly questions the merits of a football program that has beaten his team every year for nearly a decade?

ejumfan, what's happen'?  I can't resist Michigan threads as a WVU grad.  Ejumfan that is a well put post, but a little harsh. 

I would like to observe from a moderately objective point of view:  Michigan is like the Yankees; when they are losing, people like to pile-on.  And by no means was last year a typical Michigan season (yes I saw the bowl game).  And there will be more lumps this season while your QB learns the spread offense.
