Don't freak out but...yeah you are. Big time. Probabaly the biggest hypocrites in the NFL. The way some of you obsess over the Patriots ranges from creepy to downright uncomfortable. No one has more fans more interested in the doom of another team more than the good of thier own like Colts fans.

My eyes almost rolled back into my head for good after reading all the excuses some of you gave Peyton Manning when he threw his O line under the bus all the while ripping on the consummate teammate Brady...

Hopefully Marvin's little slip up with the law will bring some of you back to reality. You are really no better than anyone else and your team is not the squeaky clean machine some of you make it out to be.

The Colts are awesome...but some of the fans could learn a but more about humility.

I guess Colts fans should have sat idle while other teams fans trashed us and the Colts organization for years and shamed us for being happy about rescent success. Sports are about competition, competition brings emotions. There are going to be fans of any sports team in any sport that get more emotional than others and in different ways. All teams have those fans that take it a step too far. Dont act like the Colts have the only ones.

On another note, I dont really know what to think yet, but if Harrison was involved with this, it hurts me to say that he should get punished like anyone else, I would not wish any leniencyon him, and that would go the same for any Colts player.

of course there are fans of every team who are let's say over the top. and there are some Colts fans who are down right ridiculous, but for chowds to call colts fans hypocrites wow .chowds invented the term that is why it ryhmes with Patriots!!! i never seen so many excuses after that superbowl lost. so,stop about hypocrites.

nobody obsesses with your cheating team ,most just cant stand some of your obnoxious bretheren. your coach, team and fan base are very unlikeable and smug. you chowds bring the hate from most nfl fans on yourselves.

yeah peytons a horrible teammate and has a horrible work ethic!!!!! hey i could give a rats ass if he dissed the offensively line. they deserved it that game and in the heat afterwords he expressed himself which i have seen brady do on several occassions.

the patsy's are undeniably a very good team, but you chowds make it like they are the only team.there is nothing worse then a city that was known for being lovable losers, then winnings a couple of titles and now they think they the sh---.  i liked chowds when the sox always choked and the patsy' stunk it up. at least the fans were likeable.

Agreed.  Not every Pats fan is like this, but there is a stereotypical Boston sports fan that is as obnoxious and arrogant as you'll find anywhere.  These are the same people who whined for years about the Yankees stealing FA prospects from them (remember when AROD flopped to the Yankees after serious courting from the Red Sox?  The collective whine out of Boston could be heard in central Kazakstan...), and then the Sox FINALLY bought their own championship and the Sox fans suddenly thought it was a great idea to outspend the rest of the league by a mile (except the NYY, of course).  These are the same guys who use the argument that everyone must cheat...the Patriots were simply the only ones who got caught.  And they argue that the Pats lost the championship game to the Colts last year and the Super Bowl this year because of poor officiating that was part of a plot by the league against them.

Then there are, of course, other Pats fans who are rational and coherent.

Totlbstrd,
I didn't judge if Marvin was dumb enough to keep a gun on the premises. I posted a news story that said such.

But I agree. Wait until it all comes out.

Adonis,
How are ya "pretty boy"? LOL I've been living the crazy life running around the country for work.

I agree, it will get sorted out in the end. Though I did see an article today in PFT that is talking about other incidents relating to Harrison. But again.... We'll find out the truth later.

How'd you like your draft this year?

I know that this is probably not a popular view with a lot of my fellow Colts fans, but I cannot see rooting for someone who feels the need to own 25 guns and be stupid enough to put themselves in this position where they can be questioned in a shooting.

Ok.... first of all, I have to say that rich people are going to have a need  to protect themselves and their property.  Sure, you can have bodyguards walking around with you most of the time, but there will be an occasion where you have to protect yourself.  As Shaun Taylor proved to us, not having a gun doesn't make you any safer than having one or 25 of them.  In fact, Taylor may still even be alive if he had a gun with him that fateful night.  Every human has the right to protect their homes and families so to say that he shouldn't have guns (especially when you add the fact that the human is rich and is therefore, a target) is rediculous in my view.

I hope that Marv is proven innocent, but I cant look past the fact that he would be put in this situation...

Some people end up in situations in which they have little to no control.  Sure, a lot of the times guys can put themselves in bad spots, but Marvin was hanging out on his property, in his home town..... how can we say he put HIMSELF in a bad spot.  It's not like he went looking for trouble, the person who got shot came to his establishment and thats where the incident occurred.  I mean, when trouble comes knocking on your door, can you always tell it to come back later, or that you don't have time for it because you are a football player?  Please.

I was in a bar after work today and the bar tender put it best...once you sign that first multi-million dollar contract, isnt it time to get out of the ghetto?

Ummm no?  Those players who come from the poorer parts of the country are even more apt to be around the environment of their upbringing.  Can we just tell them to forget about family and life long friends because they have a million dollar contract?  No way.  These people have the right to their lives and to make friends as they see fit.  I do not see any good that can be done by forgetting your roots and trying to assmilate into a group that you are not familiar with.. could you truly feel welcome and comfortable if that's not what you are used to? Probably not.

In fact, by them staying in the community more, they are more apt to see problems that they could help fix by giving back or investing into the community....

I find it funny that people who are not from the ghetto can sit back and criticize people who are from there, for their actions.
