Brad Tinsley is a Commodore

Taylor, Goulbounre, Tchiengang, and now Tinsley... Best recuiting class in Vanderbilt men's bball history!!!  (No exaggeration).

4 top-100 recruits (all 4-star players according to various scouting websites).  Not to mention the 2 near-7'-tall monsters we'll have in the frontcourt in AJ and Festus Ezeli (red shirt).  Beal, Drake, Graham, McClellan, and Walker all coming back... and no seniors on next years roster.  This is a team that is beyond capable of making some deep tourney in the next 2-4 years.  Time to get over that Sweet-Sixteen hump.  Get on the band-wagon now ladies and gentlemen... it's gonna be a hell of a ride!!!

I am as enthused as anyone about this incoming class, and I think we should all tip our caps to Coach Stallings for seriously upgrading the talent and athleticism of the program. He's proven to be not only a fantastic "sideline" coach but an accomplished recruiter as well. Even when players narrow it down to two schools as we saw with Taylor and Tinsley, Stallings was able to pull it out in the clutch. Now we just have to trust that these are quality guys that are willing to put the work in during the off season to physically and mentally prepare themselves for a major collegiate schedule. I know A.J. has admitted that he was not 100% at the end of the season due to lack of conditioning, so hopefully these guys can avoid that.

Man, I'm gonna miss Foster. Did you guys see the music video he made for the NBA Draft? Haha. I really hope he does well in the NBA. As for Brad Tinsley, I looked at his highlight reel on YouTube, he looks pretty decent. Hopefully him and Jermaine Beal can step up on the perimeter with Gordon and Shan gone.

I'm really excited about our recruiting class and I can't wait for the season to start.

Agreed.  And I'm going to miss watching Foster too.... he was electric last season.  Hopefully AJ will stick around long enough for these new guys to develop and the team can make a real splash in the tourney.

In other Foster news... #32 lit up the T'Wolves the other night in the NBA summer league.  8 for 13 shooting, 17 points.  Here's hoping he makes the Mavs active roster:
