Have you ever heard of the Montreal Canadiens. From 1944 to1993 they won 20 cups.  In 1976-1977 they ony had 8 losses.  Now that is a dynsasty!

You are completely right. There's no way anyone can argue with the fact that you were better than everyone else for four years straight almost 30 years ago. In the 21st century, a four game championship streak in late last century means more than anything. Who cares if you didn't even make the play-offs this year? Or that you were third worst in the Eastern Conference? Or tied for fourth-to-last in the NHL? That doesn't matter. You had four straight Cups almost 30 years ago!

I hope I've made my point by now.

Ps. don't **** up that 5th pick, 30+ years of being the NHL's @$$ tissue is long enough.

NYFAN...you should no better than to try to talk sense with Islanders fans (it can't be done). 

Hopefully the Rangers will make some smart moves in the offseason...there is a definite need for either a big, bruising defenseman or a quarterback for the powerplay.  Rozival had a bad playoffs and didn't do much around the stretch either so I would be happy to see him gone. 

By the way Hossa is a free agent and seeing how he beat us this series do you think the Rangers will sign him like they did Drury (who beat us last year)?
