Pens never have beaten the Flyers in the post season match up! I am not a fan of either team but I watch ALL hockey games. No Bias on my part! Who have the Pens beaten...a lame Azz team. Rangers had a lot of sloopy plays....no control. Yes, the stats were close in hits, face offs...etc. Lunqvist is what kept the Rangers in the game So, if you want the Pens to play tough againest the Flyers...they need to step up.
Brion- he is playing very well! Umberger 9 goals so far.... Second in the playoffs to Franzen. I perdicBriere, D. 8 goals. My thought is the Flyers will hit hard...especially Sid.
Fluery has better stats than Brion as goalies goes he is great as a net minder... but this game should change that because the Flyers have peppered shots at the net be aware!
"Umberger, a Pittsburgh native who turned 26 on Saturday, missed six games toward the end of the season with a sprained left knee and finished with 13 goals and 50 points. He already has nine goals this postseason."
"Umberger's goals set a Flyers record for a five-game series and nearly matched Tim Kerr's record 10 goals in a seven-game series against Pittsburgh in 1989."
