Official Pens vs Flyers thread

I can only pray the Pens are THAT STUPID as to go in that direction in game 5.  I'd love to see them take stupid penalties and give the Flyers more power plays.  That would be THE MOST MORONIC thing the Pens could do and they aren't going to do it.  Staal even said after the game you wouldn't be seeing any of that out of the Pens in game 5, that isn't their game.

There were plenty of us on here after game 3 saying how the Pens had a stranglehold on the series and they still do, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Sic, we are definitely in 100% agreement on everything you just said.  I'll be dead honest,  before the face-off even happened I said "What the heII is Crosby doing on the ice?!?!?!"  I was SHOCKED he was out there.  I dont know what Therien was thinking.  They were down by 2 before the face-off with 22 seconds left and he has Crosby out there and the goalies still pulled.  I didn't get what he was thinking at all.

Laraque can fight, no question about it but that is just a ridiculous statement.  I really don't think the Flyers would have said "Oh man we were going to get physical but Laraque is here, we better not think about it now!" You're just being absurd  now.

Not absurd at all, game three is the proof, Laraque and the big boys were out there at the end, and the flyers skated off with no messages for game four.  They went down to defeat without a whimper in that game.  The only reason Upshall and Richards started their shit at the end was because Therien got a braincramp and didn't put Laraque on the ice.  Not one flyer has even tried to get into it with Laraque the whole series, wonder why?

Well no but I do see him chewing the official's ear the whole game, he talks to the referees and linesmen more than he talks to his own teamates. 

Isnt that the captains job? Talk to the ref's. To get there assessments of Penalties, Power Plays, goals, commercial breaks??? lol... Wow....Now he's not supposed to talk to the refs?????

It's laughable that you actually believe that.  What MESSAGE were the Flyers going to send after going down 3-0 and losing a game by 3 goals????  They weren't really in any position to SEND a message.  And it would be hard to put Laraque on the ice when he wasn't even in the lineup.

For all the Pens fans acting like y'all are saints, go to YouTube and try to find the Kasparitis hit on Lindros that caused Lindros' first concussion. You people were cheering the hit. Not saying we wouldn't do the same in Philly, but you guys do it too, and quite a few of you continued cheering after it was obvious he was seriously hurt. So stop with the holier than thou attitude.
