dude could have come in standing up much less easily slide in, but instead came across the plate AFTER STEPPING ON IT and blasted Ruiz, who has never been hit like that in that situation in his life and to his credit took the blow without even blinking
and to address your statement...YES they need to be a little tougher...so that crap doesn't fly or someone's going to get hurt ---that would have put a lot of catchers out for a month
