An Awesome game tonite by the Stars over the Sharks. 2:30 in the morning (eastern time)
A game for the ages...
Now on to the Western Conference finals!!
Way too much time is being given off. Four days (Are you kidding me?) for Dallas, I realize they just played a marathon, but man...
Detroit has a full week to heal those bumps and bruises...

The Red Wings really don't have many injuries to heal, although Chelios was scratched the final game of the Avalanche series.
Fatigue should be non issue with all the time for both. My biggest concern is for Detroit to rusty, but with Babcock, that should not be a problem.

Prediction: Turco folds under the pressure of the wings offense and the series is wrapped up in 5.

Turco can only hold his streak together for so long and he has never done well against detroit. If im wrong take it to me but historically this should be a pretty one sided affair

I think it might go six IF Turky can stand on his head and possibly steal a game or two games in Dallas.
At times their defense has looked real soft. I can't wait to the Swedish Elite Team expose their D.

ugh.. four days sounds like a lot of time right now. I hope the wings won't come out rusty. My prediction for this series: Wings take Stars in 5. As you all said, if he has his game on, then 6. If the Datsyuk and Zetterberg connection work, It could end a little faster. Datsyuk and Zetterberg always own Turco, I love it.
So heres to a good series between two good teams. Lets Go Wings!!

One thing I certainly like is the unbridled enthusiasm. We have had the Stars number this year but haven't played them in a while. Turco seems to some serious vision problems against the Red Wings especially at the Joe.
At least there won't be any 10 or 10:30 games, that's definitely a plus and no ridiculous travel (like last year!)

Syuk and Zeta are the difference maker I think. Obviously their scoring prowess is a huge factor, but a huge part of their success against the Stars is going to come with their forechecking ability methinks. Pav is going to pick pockets and frustrate which ever line they match up with. I'm not saying this is going to be an easy series for the Wings by any means, Dallas has certainly proved they can hang with the big boys in beating out pretty much the same team that won the Cup last year (( Cup hangover syndrome though )) and the much improved Sharks. I say Wings in 6.

I like your thinking. I think right now it's a 6 game series as well. Datsyuk is the best pick pocket in the league. All I know is if you shake Pavel's hand, you better count your fingers for missing rings because he is the ultimate thief!
