Stars in 6, they have Mo on their side - MOdano, MOrrow, and MOmentum, and add Turko and you get Stars in 6

WylieSooner, honestly, I don't think the Stars have that much momentum going into a series against the wings. Im not saying the wings do either, they beat the aves 8-2 but they've been gameless for a week.

Modano,Morrow? Ok - Datsyuk, Zettergerg.

Red Wings in six. Turco winless at JLA and not very stellar against the Red Wings overall I believe he is 2-10-5 . Season series Wings 3-1. Stars only win came with Jimmy Howard in net. Wings scored 5 and 4 in two wins against Turco and he shut them out 1-0 in the Stars only win.

Are you kidding me?  Dallas will not win this series for one reason.  They are spent.  Detroit will come out and attack and embarass Turco just like they have in the past.  His record against Detroit is horrendous and it won't be getting any better against the high powered offense lead by Pavel, Hank and "the Mule", Johan Franzen.

Detroit in five.

I said Dallas in 7. But it'll end up being Detroit in 4.

Some slightly uninformed guy said that the 4th liners for Dallas are going to be doing a lot of scoring. I'm sure the Stars 4th line could demonstrate some superiority over Detroit's. Lmfao OK. We'll put Lilja on the ice so he can give them the puck an extra 20 times and your line still won't produce. Not against ozzy anyway. Only God knows what Hasek is going to save or let go, I swear.

Thats why I think Detroit is going all the way, they've got more depth than any team. The second closest Id have to say would either be Ottawa or Pittsburgh, but obviously the sens couldn't produce even though they had some great players. But thats nor here nor there. I'm saying every line that Detroit has, plays well. Detroits 3rd liners could start on some other teams. Look what happened to Matt Ellis, once the Kings got him, he started playing full game shifts. All of Detroits lines produce on a consistent basis. So if the 1st line isn't achieving much, i guarantee the 2nd liners (Fillpulla, great job stepping up) would raze all hell.

You wings fans are so full of yourselfs. God forbid if somebody pick the Dallas Star's to beat your Red Wing's. I have yet to see even one Red Wing fan even show the slightest bit of respect to the Stars. All you guys can say is the Stars will be worn out, the wings have owned Turco in the PAST?? you kidding me they have a 3 day break. These are professional athletes, not 40 year old smucks. AND if you haven't noticed Turco has turn it around in the playoffs and is looking like a complete new goaltender. If you guys think you are going to beat teh Stars just because they have Turco's number then keep playing that card cuz I guarantee you he will play just as good as he has been. You guys keep talkin, its going to make it all the more sweet when the stars hand you your asses in 6.

Heres to a great series. Go Stars!

 giggem1223 Respect is earned ....................

The Stars have earned respect, The Red Wings have earned it as well. When you look at the two teams with all things being equal Detroit wins. Dont forget so far no one has been picking the Wings either !

Predators and the Avalanche had quiet a few people picking them to win.

Turco has been amazing but what Scorers has he faced? are they anything like the goal scorers  the Wings can send at Turco shift after shift ? has there been multiple lines for the Stars opponants who can and have been scoring (maybe it is all Turco, I dont think so)? Can the Young Dallas defense slow down the Wings attack ?

Dallas has not had to play against a team that controls the puck like the Wings do, their young defense will be turned inside out and leave Turco hung out to dry because of that Turco will have to be an absolute witch  take this series to 6 or 7 games. The serries will likely go to Detroit for game 5 with a chance for the Wings to clinch the WCF

Red Wing win eight more tom finish the season

For the record I thought the Sportsline "experts" were crazy for picking the Avs. I pick detroit in 6 but was still way off.

I dont think the Stars will be worn out.

I dont think the Wings will Run over Marty Turco.

What happened in the past is gone....The postseason is all that counts.

I say this series goes the distance.
