	Really? That's great! Oh, sorry about your situation though Tark. I don't particularly like VS., but I thought I'd be listening to Jackson & Coatsey all series. That is so painful for opposing fans.I respect that. I hate the Pens announcers myself hahaha. I mean, if they had a truly national channel doing the games, that's fine. VERSUS simply isn't a national channel. Its pathetic. Crow, You make a great point. Speaking from the Philly standpoint, if the Flyers were to win the Cup, I would want to hear Jim Jackson calling it. I'm sure that's his absolute dream. I don't want to hear that guy on VERSUS call it. I want to hear my home announcer flip out with unadulterated excitement and joy, not some guy who couldn't care less. Why can't they just let the local channels broadcast the game as well as VERSUS? What's wrong with that?

	I hope we dont have to hear about crosby diving all over the place i hope he bags that crap in the ECF Gee, I hope WE don't have to hear about the Flyers dirty play and cheap shots at th Igloo! Give it a rest and hopefully this thread can stay all sugar and lace.... blechhh (j/k that other thread is almost unreadable)

	Why can't they just let the local channels broadcast the game as well as VERSUS? The answer's obvious tarkus. Money and ratings. Which is to say, money and money. Vs wants exclusivity and the NHL is so desperate for coverage they have to grant it. That's just my opinion though.

LOL, one of my friends that i watch a ton of games with HATES jackson because he is such a homer. so the fact that you guys are talking about this is hilarious! Personally, because im a philly fan, i like Jackson. I enjoy hearing my home town announcers talk and call the game and having Clement in there (who i love) makes me happy...so when they call the game i like it however i can easily see how it would make a Pens fan sick after 2 min lol .... The crappy VS announcers spend too much timre talking up story lines instead of calling the game!! it drives me insane!!! CALL THE GAME!!! read a newspaper for the story lines!!!

Ahhh the good old days with Gary Thorne & Bill Clement calling the games on ESPN. I would be thrilled if it was them. They were the best. Why can't they just let the local channels broadcast the game as well as VERSUS? What's wrong with that? Again, I agree. Let the hometown fans watch their hometown feed. They did it earlier in the playoffs. Yet, it drove me crazy when they scheduled a Flyers game on VS., and it was still broadcasted on CSN, but they locally blacked VS. out & showed crap like fishing when there were other playoff games being played. Why couldn't they show an out of town game on VS. in the Philadelphia area at the same time? If you want more people to start watching hockey it seems like offering as much of it to the public as you can would be the obvious way to start.

Flyers had a few bad moment in the beginning of the season, they ARE NOT a dirty team so lets squash that right away
