I wish that I would have read this thread long before I wasted my time glancing through (Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics style) the other 26 page Pens/Flyers thread...OMG, what a bunch of morons contributing to that! Pens suck this - Flyers suck that - Diving - Thugs - blah, blah, blah...hey JReezee you forgot about the shooting comments and cheese steaks!!!!
this thread gets a big BUMP

You know. . . .I have already ordered the Pizza and Beer for Tomorrow to make sure we get on the delivery list. I am afraid that the Pizza shops will be tied up tomrrow in Pittsburgh, while the Steak & Cheese joints in Philadelphia will get their mouthful.
I cannot wait and hope for the best. Any Flyer fans want to anti up a Steak & Chese for a dozen of Piergoies???? Good Luck to you Flyer Fans, but I hope we have better Luck here in Pittsburgh.
Let's Go Pens!!!!

Should I DVR the game and watch or watch it live?
I have a softball game at 6:30, the first of the year. Should I play and watch the game later, or skip and watch it live? I personally LOVE watching the games recorded because I can skip through commercials, intermissions, etc. But I feel wierd not watching live, like I'm missing out on something.
What do you guys think?

18rocks,
I've had to do this numerous times for Flyers games.....except I actually had to record it on a DVD because I don't have DVR.
I would DVR it. Its a little weird to not watch live, but earlier this year, I taped a Flyers/Pens game and didn't get to start watching it until around 11 that night, but it was still awesome.
Hopefully the only winning you have tomorrow is in your softball game. Good luck if you do decide to play!

DVR is definitely great, or recording by any means for that matter, the only downfall that I have come across in the past is making sure someone doesn't blow the score for me before I watch it. I have to make sure I don't get on the computer, talk to anyone, listen to the radio, or anything. I screwed myself a few times this year because I check email or something and my homepage shows my scores. Really stupid, but somehow I keep doing it.

hahaha yeah....that's tough.
What I always do is as soon as I get home, I plop myself in front of the TV and start watching the game and when I'm driving home, I don't turn on the radio. And I always tell everyone to not tell me the score.
Hopefully whatever you do works.

Tarkus. I love your avatar. I especially can not believe the Assistant Coach. He seems to be watching Stevens closely and mimicing his reactions. First Stevens jumps up and down, then he does. Then Stevens throws a puch like thrust then he doew. Finally, they are dressed alike with a balck suit and red tie. How much more choreagorahy do you want.
I give them a 10. Awesome video!!
