bigwig- I agree with the season expectations. I am a huge Stillers fan and I bleed balck and gold just as everyone does. I am however optimistic and realistic when I say this. I think that with the talent we got this year and the class of 2007, I feel certain that we will be positioned to make that so called run atr another championship. With that said, I do feel that we will have a decent year and again be able to pick up some much need depth at positions we did not address in Fa this year or the draft. I hate to say it but look for some bright spots, but look for the low points to come as we will need this year to learn and establish our ground for the 2009 season. I'm not sure what to call as far as the division goes. It could be open to all four if ytou really want to knoiw the truth. I feel that Baltimore got better in some ways, I feel that Cleveland did with the FA period and I think that the Bungles will play over their heads and into a position at the end where they could knock one of the faviorites out of the division. They do have some decent talent and if they get screwed on right, they could let it show on the field. My biggest fear is that while we are positioning ourselves for a run of three years or so, we stay away from the dreded "big bite injury" which simply means "carreer ending" We haven't had that for a while and lets hope we don't see it any time soon.

GO Steelers PROOVE ME WRONG!

This shows the class these jags fans have coming on our board just to raise some hell. Big deal they beat us twice last year, if thats all they can hang their hat on then that is pathetic. I wasn't sold on there draft, they reached way too high for harvey and traded up for groves because they thought we'd get him, well we weren't so there's a waste right their. Lets test our two rb system and let them test it on us, with Aaron Smith healthy.

As for the line, we hate a problem with pass blocking. Two of our worst, if not the worst, pass blockers won't be starting next year, Alan Faneca and Sean Mahan. Justin Hartwig does not get blown off the line and is a pure center, faneca was a great player for us but his rep got him all that money. He was a pretty good run blocker but had a huge weakness in the passing game. Kemoeatu is the favorite to replace him, he is a run blocking mauler and if he can move his feet better, he will be a good guard. Tony Hills has the outline of a good starter aswell.

I think we win our division because our recievers got better and clevelands secondary got worse, the two teams I believe that will contend to win the north. Our offense has a top 5 quarterback, a top 5 running back, a guy in mendenhall who can be very productive, two pretty good recievers and the reciever ben craved for aswell as a top 5 tight end. Our defense will be great again and with Ryan Clark healthy that will limit big pass plays against us and aaron smith being healthy derasticly helps our run defense. Bruce Davis was agreat pass rusher the last two years and woodley starting is going to have a great year.

And beating the Steelers twice is not all we "hang our hat on", in fact we rarely discuss it.

Houston - Win, they suck.

@ Cleveland - I really don't think they're better than us at all. Their free-agent defense has proven nothing. Win.

@ Philadelphia - Win, they suck.

Baltimore - Win, old.

@ Jacksonville - Well here it is. The team we can't beat. Though I really don't think that they are a better team than we are. Aaron Smith turns the tide. Win, close.

@ Cincinnati - Win, they suck.

New York Giants - Win. I loved the Giants for toppling the Pats** as much as anyone. We're more talented top-to-bottom. Their d-line will probably eat our o-line for lunch, but our defense will absolutely smother theirs. Homefield advantage tips this in our favor. Win.

@ Washington - Win, they suck.

Indianapolis - I will honestly be shocked if we lose this game. Indy isn't the team they used to be. Addai is ridiculously overrated, and not having Harrison to stretch the field hurts the passing game a lot. Watching them try to run their offense in the Heinz Field swamp will be entertaining. Win.

San Diego - Their front seven terrifies me. And now so does their secondary. Our D will have to come up big.  - Win, close

Cincinnati - Major suckitude.   Easy Win

@ New England - God I hate them. I can think of so many ways in which it's possible to beat these ducks, but I'm afraid that it all comes down to execution, and they execute better than anyone. Some heroics by Ben and a solid gameplan give us a chance. - Win, in OT.

Dallas - Win, at home, I think we're just better.

@ Baltimore - Win, suck.

@ Tennessee - Yeah right. Vince Young? Nice offense. Win.

Cleveland - Win, unless we're resting our starters because we've already locked up a bye. 16-0 (thanks to I. Coup for the original, only minor edits made)

Nobodywanted you here jags fans. If you want to have fun, why don't you try to start convincing people to be Jaguars fans. Then you could have people to talk to instead of interrupting a thread from a tottally different division. By the way guys, the Steelers and the Browns both went 10-6

Well you guys discuss it around us, so for all we care that what you guys hang your hat on. It wasn't a discussion, your just sticking up for the other jags fans. These two, along with fan4fun, are the gym_brown and ldmcb of the jags board.
