The Tigers are too frusterating to watch. They are the most overrated and underachieving team I've ever been a fan of. People can say what they want about being early in the season but at the moment, this is the way I feel about them.  Their pitching is terrible and their hitting is unpredictable and inconsistent.  Until they play with the heart they had in 06', talent won't get you far in a league that continues to plateau. I guess time will tell if the Tigers can pull it together.

Hang in there...your Tigers have too much talent to slump all season long.  It's been odd even from a non-Tiger fan to see them doing so poorly when they were set up to do so well this year, so it must be hell from a fan standpoint.  BUT, as I said on another Tigers thread, they better turn it around soon because I've got half the damn team on my fantasy baseball roster!

You guys just need pitching, that is all really. The hitting is there, but they need to rework the lineup and forget about player egoes. Sheff and Ivan Rodriguez need to be dropped into the 7-8 slots and let Granderson-Renteria bat 1-2. Renteria has always been a killer #2 hitter. He was the Marlins #2 guy back when Leyland managed them so I don't see why he doesn't put him back in there. Polanco is a great number 2 hitter also, but he won't steal as many bases as Renteria.
