I liked Rivers, he was a good defensive player for us all season (until Curry made him look like a chump. But Curry did that to a lot of people) Regardless, I hope he goes somewhere that suits him better and he's successful and happy. As long as he doesn't come back to bite us :)

Wow, I hope there isn't trouble brewing behind closed doors with this team.

On the bright side, our team free throw percentage just rose about 19 points over the past two weeks.

I like Jeremiah, but "he told the Indianapolis Star that the Hoyas' offense didn't showcase his talents."

I assume by offensive "talents", he wasn't referring to his shooting, passing, dribbling or driving.

He was arguably our best defender (I'd say right behind Ewing Jr) and smart enough to play in our offense.  But, there's a reason other teams left him open and welcomed his 3-point attempts and also pressed when he tried to bring the ball up the floor.

I can understand Macklin saying our offense didn't showcase his talents. But Rivers? Paranoia already summed it up perfectly. Our offense didn't showcase Jeff Green's offensive talents either, but he still managed to be a lottery pick.

GOod luck Jerry

I watched every Hoya game possible--I cant recall when he has made a jumper and I remember him missing alot of lay-ups and a couple of freethrows!!!  When i watch JT3 offense its looks frustrating @ times so maybe he has a point-but why IU arent they facing some violations no coach no big time recruits...oh now i see maybe he picked IU cause he knows he'lll get the playing time. I was way more bothered by Macklin transfer

Apparently Billy Donovan just got a "commitment" from Jeremiah's little brother, Austin Rivers, to play for Florida in a few years.  Austin is only a freshman, but supposedly he's better than Jeremiah (or at least, I'd hope he is, since he's being recruited so early).

So much for the "legacy"...

I am glad to see Jeremiah go - his lack of an offensive game did not make up for his defensive play.  When he was on the floor - the other team could double the post without even acknowledging him on the perimeter.  And that spin move at half court ? - who is that fooling really?

This frees up more playing time for Wright if anything and shortens the bench - not a bad thing in my view.
