4 Braylon Edwards: For years Edwards struggled, but only because he didn’t have a quarterback to throw the ball to him. Now that he has a good player in Anderson tossing balls in his direction, Edwards should rise on your draft board. His tall frame is ideal and this past season has shown that he has the ability to go up and make a play on the ball. He had 16 touchdown grabs in 2007 and that was with shaky ...

12 Anquan Boldin: Playing alongside Larry Fitzgerald is no easy task, but Boldin has proven that he can. Boldin had one more touchdown than Fitzgerald, but has significantly less yards in 853. When Fitzgerald is getting the attention Boldin is often ignored, but so much the better for fantasy owners...

17 Roy Williams: His numbers slipped in 2007, and he only amassed 836 yards and 5 touchdowns. Though he didn’t play the last 4 games of the season, he showed how ineffective he can be. He dropped a league high 8 passes and can’t be relied on to provide a consistent outing each week. It is shaky to have him in ...

Drafting a WR this year might be difficult since even though for 3 years running; the stats have been high does not mean that they will be high this year. Chad Johnson can be your classic example; 3 years running with 1000+yrds, but with Drew Rosenhaus as his agent and the intent is to get traded or cut his stats might be falling due to the organizations ability to punish him for his antics in the media, for the push that if does bad overall he will be ousted out of the organization and or that new an up incoming rookies have replaced him in the line up.

Randy Moss can be another example, very hard to cover and will get fantasy points no matter what, but last year teams showed a consistent effort to minimize his ability to get open and in some rare cases taking a penalty in order to stop Moss advances of the ball. The Patriots schedule is the least of the issue the other is Moss age and playing for a team that is still vulnerable to heavy pass rush that was apparent in the Super Bowl with the Giants. Still the #1 WR in this years fantasy draft but I would not think 23 TD season will be possible.

3 WR that I see being as sleepers and might surprise some will be Jerry Porter (Jaguars), Limas Sweed (Steelers) Mario Manningham (Giants). First is Jerry Porter, a Florida native that has not really had a QB that can throw, he reunites close to home and the Jaguars needs to throw the ball long in order to gain momentum in the running game. Has never had a 1000yrd season but with the right offensive system that employs a solid TE in Mercedes Lewis and a Run game in Fred TaylorMaurice Jones-Drew and Greg Jones, Porter will get a lot of options to catch passes down field. Sweed will be the future replacement of Hines Ward with his size and running style Sweed may not have a break out season this year but next year that could change. Manningham looks to be either the future replacement for Plaxico Burress or his main component that will allow opposing defenses to think twice when double covering one or the other. The other item that intrigues me the most is if it was not for Manningham's confession to drug charges he would have been a 1st round pick. This in itself will be a driving force that will haunt him for years to come and something that will keep him wanting to prove that he is worthy of NFL elite status.

Greg Jennings was the WR waiver wire pick of the year for me, but I wouldn't be quick to draft him this year with the Packers QB situation.

I agree, Packers are going to have growing pains and even though Aaron Rodgers will be primed to lead the team his throwing time will be off sue to inability to play as many reps as it will need to get him up to speed.

I look for Jerry Porter to have a good season, may not be a great season like eeryone would like but 700yrds a 6 TDs to me is not out of the question then next year after he gets a grip of the system then move ahead as a solid threat.

The two rookies I mentioned I do not expect great things out of them either but will fil a void tht is needed on their respective systems and eventually get where they are a threat.
