For a 4-3 trip, The Phillies need a 2-1 series win in Row's new home.

May records are:

Mets @ 3-3, Braves @ 6-0 & Phillies @ 5-3 w/ my call @ 5-3 to this point.

My call to this point in MAY is 22-14, while we are 20-16.

My call for April was 16-11, and we were 15-12.

My call for May is 17-12, which brings the April & May TOTAL call to 34-23.

PITCHING MATCH-UPS:

HAMELS vs. MISCH, advantage PHILLIES

MOYER vs. LINCECUM, advantage Giants

EATON vs. SANCHEZ, advantage PHILLIES

HAMELS has gone at least 7 inns. 6 out of 7 starts this year.  MOYER made the 7 inn. plateau for the first time after 4 close calls.  EATON needs to bounce back, and it would be nice if he could go 7 inns. after doing in his first start of the year.

I'm just not big on Eaton.  It seems every start is the same thing.  He has a decent fastball, and he uses it to get ahead of hitters, but he can't blow anyone away and he doesn't have an out pitch or a decent breaking ball.  He'll get ahead 0-2 or 1-2 and then throw a crappy breaking ball no one will chase, or another one his fastballs that are either out of the zone to let the hitter get back in the count or just leave one over the plate and by now the hitters got a feel for the movement on his fastball and crush it.  It's a pretty good 2-seamer, he just doesn't change speeds very well and doesn't have a breaking ball to make the fastball any useful.  At this point he can't just develop a great 2nd pitch, and the way last year went and so far this year I don't think the fastball is fooling anyone.
