The truth be told, it doesn't matter what the other teams besides the Pats have done. That's because the Patriots are the team that has had unparalleled amount of success since 2001. Not the Colts, Seahawks, Eagles, Chargers, or any other team.
This suckcess has led to a greater amount of scrutiny. Which has led to evidence of cheating ... planting "the seed of doubt" in the heads of many NFL fans.
So is Bill Belicheck really that great of a coach? Is Tom Brady really that great of QB? In the big picture - I think the answer is yes. A coach is justified in doing whatever it takes to win. I suspect the NFL has known about his tactics for some time but will never own up to saying the team really did anything wrong. Brady and the other players do deserve credit for consistantly performing well.
Where do we go from here? Well, NE's Super Bowl loss did quite a bit for the NFL's credibility (regarding staying a competitive league where "any team can win"). Plus, seeing Brady getting knocked on his keister was an added bonus. We've now enjoyed 3 straight years of a non-NE champion.
The best thing about the issue is that it's creating a community of crybaby Patriot fans that are going ballistic about the idea that their precious team could possibly done anything wrong in any way. Talk about the last fans on earth who should be complaining about anything.
