.... kind of. Whenever they're not playing the Pats.
Alotta you Charger's fans, mainly but not limited to boltnut, have been freaking cool on these boards.
You guys are intelligent, cool, practical, and know football.
You have a great team... some great guys on there.
Whenever you're not playing the Pats, during the regular season ( I can never root for another team other then my own in playoffs even if they're not playing me... that'd be a shift of focus and is unnaceptable. ) I will root for the Chargers.
Sooo... have fun rooting for your team. Except for when you play me, and except for the playoffs, I'll have your back.
I wish I could say the same to you but I moved to Connecticut from SD 2 years ago so I am bombarded with Pats fans... So it is kinda tough for me to root for the pats at any time but thanks for the appreciation.... We will meet in the AFC Champ. again but hopefully this time it will be in SD
Ive always been 50/50 with the Patriots. I do like your team (hate to say it). But the constant Media attention and some of your fans really start to get annoying over a period of time.
Also, its easy for you to root for a team you seem to always beat.
But Thanks, I won't say I'll root for your team. But the only time I'll root against the Patriots, is when you play the Chargers.
I'm truly honored to be one of the reasons we will be having and enjoying some support from a Patriots fan (granted it's limited to games not against your favorite team) but any support is good.
The Patriots are obviously a very talented team as well. Even tho I don't root FOR them in every game I do enjoy watching Patriots games. I know they will be well played and entertaining.
I was rooting for the Pats in the SB (Eli hater) and especially enjoyed the shot of Junior Seau and Teddy Bruschi on the sidelines near the end of the game. Then that play happened. The one where Eli Manning does the Fran Tarkenton escape and heaves the ball to David Tyree. He somehow secures the ball against his helmet while falling backwards for a completion?
I couldn't believe the announcers on the Monday after were calling it the greast play in SB history? That play belongs on a "blooper" reel along with the one where the Dolphins Garo Yeprennian tries to throw a pass after a botched FG attempt. The Redskins intercept the batted pass and run it back for a TD.
Anyhow, to quote a reallly tiring commercial
I don't often troll....But when I do, I troll on the Pats page...
Ok, Tucson AZ for your new home. Did you pick that place or did your company move you there?
When the weather gets really nasty over there (hotter than hell, or monsoon rains) come on over to the coast and because you will still have your NE accent you won't be called a "zonie" (Tourist from AZ)
Are you going to get cable that lets you still get Patriot games? (Not the movie) the games. I'd hafta do that if I moved out of SD county...
Yeah Company move.... I do really think I'm going to get sunday ticket or something but CBS normally carries Patriots games like 8-10 times a season no matter what region you're in. There will definately be games I will miss, and that didn't happen in CT, but I'll get to watch them alot.
But If nobody has told you there are creatures in the southwest desert that are...different?
The wierdest is the vinegaroon. It's a scorpion looking insect but instead of the curled up tail it's straight. When I first heard of it I thought people were pulling my chain. Apparently it doesn't sting, (it squirts) but it can bite. And if it does, (so I'm told) everything tastes like vinegar for a couple of days. You can google it (whipscorpion)
