lets signs Archuleta

I think we should sign Archuleta i know all the talk isabout signing a conner like Ty Law... but been there done that... I rather let the conners we have fight it out for starting conners then having ty back... shoot i rather just sign arron glenn of course he was signed last month by the Saints so thats not going too happen....

I think Archuleta will be solid next season he is going to want too prove he still can play and for a solid tak too have a broken hand u can just guess why he didnt play well last year...

Give Adam a shot!!

He sucks.  Eric Smith is just as fundamentally sound and Abram Elam brings much more energy even though he might make some mistakes here or there.  We desperately need another corner, even if its just a depth move and hes not going to start opposite Darrelle Revis.  Safety isn't our problem right now, when we want to turn into an elite team, we can worry about getting a second saftey.  Right now we're trying to become a competitive team. 

Even if we do get a safety I hope its not Adam Archuleta.

I agree, Archuletta had his chance and has never been a 1st round quality, so let him become like any NFL player that doesn't belong in the league due to he doesn't fit with the new way to play his position, he should just hang up his jersey and retire.

Both Elam and Smith shouldfight out for the FS beside Rhodes at SS. What we still need is a long term answer at #2 CB, i hope 4th rounder Dwight Lowery can become the starter so Poteat would be the #3 Nickel CB, with Drew Coleman at #4 dime CB. (and Justin Miller playing situational in the nickel or dime, but he should stay on special teams more so).

As much as I love Adam Archuleta, he just hasn't been the same player since he left the Rams..He is an absolute disaster in coverage and all he would do is command pay-roll that we don't need...Eric Smith and Abram Elam can hold the spot over for this season and if nothing comes from it, then we know we need to find another gem in the draft...

Do not sign AA. For one thing he shares last names with AI star David Archuleta. F*** His soul. Another thing he is old and sucky now, he has one good hand. He was good as a ram but as a Jet I cant imagine it. For gods sake get sheppard or law

Scott Cacciatore says forget about Archuleta...he is slow and has lost lot of his skills since his early days at the Rams...we dont need an aging slow veteran...we definitely need a second top corner..however, we should be able to get ALOT more pressure on the QB this year which will in turn help our corners out alot...I think Rhodes and Revis are All Pro caliber players and Abram could be an up and coming star...I have no need for Hank Poteat..I really dont get the love affair with this guy..he sucks...there is still alot of time before the start of the season and teams might release players to save money on the cap and the Jets might be able to land a good CB that way...As far as Lowry alot of people he could be a sleeper but I think his position will be safety..He does not have the top flight speed needed to play CB in the NFL..but he has good enough speed to be a safety and he also plays the ball very well which is important for a safety...the Jets need 3 things to make them a Super Bowl contender:

1- A above average QB...maybe this will be Clemens or maybe it will be Eric Ainge who could end up being the sleeper QB of the draft. 

2- An above average 2nd CB

3- A game breaking WR that can stretch the defense

once we solve these three areas we will be good enough to win a Super Bowl....hey the Giants won last year..so anyone can win from year to year...the Giants were far from the best team but got on a lucky run...I predict the Giants wont even make the playoffs this coming season...the NFL teams are so close in talent that from year to year most teams can win it all
