while i was happy to see smith come on later in the season (better late then never) and i thought mannigham was a steal we havent had great luck in the draft with wr's in a long time. i really like hilliard but as under rated as i thought he was, he was never the star he couldve been. and while i think toomer has been over looked his entire career and is underappreciated, hes been largley the only wr in the last 15-20 years weve drafted that has been a legit #1.  i think manningham is a great addition and i think he;'' excell where too many have failed for big blue. but i need to keep reminding myself not to get my hopes up and all the big blue maniacs out there like me need to do the same. also i wonder who gets cut.we need to keep jennings and smith, london showed me enough that he can stay.moss is expendable . how the hell can you get rid of tyree now? reminiscent of aaron boone? well the yanks didnt hang on to him so he may be out. so who makes the final cut? either way we have a legit shot at makin another sb push

You're right about our history with WR's, and that we should all be careful about the expectations for Manningham. But the WR situation for next year is simple. Barring injury, it's Plaxico, Toomer, Smith, Manningham, Tyree, and Moss. I don't even know who London is, but Jennings is just as expendable as Moss is, and they didn't spend a second-round draft pick on Jennings. And while it doesn't seem like it, Moss has actually been more productive than Jennings. Remember, after Toomer's second year people were calling him a bust too - it wasn't until his fourth season that he truly broke out. Tyree has been adequate as a WR when he's played (not counting the Super Bowl, when he was superb), and he's a demon on special teams. He's not going anywhere, nor should he.

I agree that Giants fans need to be careful with expectations. I'm thrilled with the Manningham pick up but it'll be a few years before we know how well it is working out.

I do like the fact that he doesn't need to be a star right way. Hopefully, it will work out for Manningham & the Giants...here's to Mario Manningham being a model citizen and solid player!

The Yankees cut Aaron Boone Because he blew out his knee playing basketball in the off season

then I think they brought in A-Rod

I Agree with your post

Looks like Moss is a Bust

Steve Smith looks Legit but he was hurt from week 2 - week 13 i think

I can not wait to Hear Manning to Manningham

that is gonna be dope
