The Redskins have picked up this guy Andrew Crummey, an offensive lineman from Maryland. Wow, the poor guy. What a name. I'm sure he'll end up being pretty crummy too. Any worse last names you guys can think of? How about Robert Sux ?

Crummey was signed by the Chargers on April 28 but then wast cut after last weekends camp. I wonder why?

That's a good question. He might not have passed physicals. If anyone knows anything about Maryland Terps football, then you know when he was healthy he was the best MD has had in years. Injuries hurt him bad though.

Stephon Heyer might have had a bit of an influence in this signing. Undrafted and did pretty well. Lets also not forget a comfort for Sam Hollenbach if they unite on practice squads. Might me a gem in the rough and he was one heck of an OLmen for the Terps.
To note, the Skins have had a ton of success with later round guys and undrafted OL players the last 30 years, from Jeff Bostic to Joe Jacoby(undrafted) to Mark Schlereth, they went in later rounds or not at all when the draft shrunk to 7 rounds.

There are worse names out there guys. I had a teacher in high school named Mrs. Offit. She had a brother named Jack.
There was another teacher named Mrs. Lipps and she had a brother named Dick.

before his injury, he was really rated up there, so if he can make a full recovery then great sign for the skins. If not, then nothing gained or lost, no biggie.

Jints, normally I can tolerate you making fun of the Redskins - their coaches, players, and front office - but making fun of the murder of Sean Taylor is just tactless. There is no place for that sort of comment here, or anyplace else for that matter. You should be ashamed of yourself.
