Sorry about that...I pressed enter too quick......Anyways, I know that Taurean Green didnt put up much of anything for numbers this year. But do you guys think that he has a chance at becoming a solid starting point guard some day ?

No. The guy couldn't even beat out Anthony Carter for our PG spot this year.

He is a rookie, who came in late in the year. I think they got a deal when they traded for him (which in most eyes this trade meant nothing.) Hes just got to improve, he has the potential. I watched him some when he played for the Gators. I say he becomes a solid starter in 4 years.

I'm not sure that he will start for the Nuggets, but somewhere I think withing 4-5 years. He was a great clutch player and leader back in his Florida days. I wish him the best.

Not many coaches will patiently wait an entire four years for a player to develop nowadays. Roster spots in the NBA are priceless and typically aren't wasted on a project unless he's a 7-footer. If the kid ever develops he'll most likely be on another team years down the road or he'll languish playing for our Broomfield minor league team.

As it stands, I'd rather roll the dice with Green instead of going with Anthony Carter. Chances are we'll trade for or draft a point guard anyway so Green's chances could be helped by the subtraction of Carter and the addition of a draft pick. If we trade for a vet then he'll probably be traded.
