I wouldn't think Ranger fans would have the gall to come over and talk smack after spending tens of millions of dollars last offseason only to get the EXACT same result as the year before. Oh wait, forgot, you did win one game in the second round this time as opposed to two games last year, so I guess it's actually a step back.
The Islanders clearly played bad hockey in the latter part of this season, but seriously, smack talk from Ranger fans is like hearing smack talk from Ottawa Senators fans. The Islanders at least have a dynasty in their history, the Rangers have what...one miracle Cup in 1994 and then three from before World War II? When your team wins consistently and actually makes IMPROVEMENT with the money spent, then maybe you'll be qualified to talk trash. Until then, your team continues to be an underachiever and play below its expectations...enjoy the golf.
