Guess CBS thought "(n/a)" was an adequate replacement for my post. Here is the Chiefs 2006 draft:

I'll give it a B right now. There are 3 players who have started and done a relatively good job. Plus, you can throw Brodie Croyle in there, which he'll likely be the starter when the season starts. We got at least 2 building blocks for the defense in Tamba Hali and Jarrad Page, and possibly another if Bernard Pollard can continue to improve. Overall, I think it was definitely a solid draft with several impact players that came out of it.

I agree with KSU. But I think it could develop into an A this year. Tamba Hali could take the place of Jared Allen and I really like the way Page and Pollard are coming along. Plus, we got the QB of the future (maybe) in Croyle and a top 3 receiver in Jeff Webb.

I said B, but just barely it could turn into a C or and A by the end of this season.

Hali - He doesn't have to replace Allen. If he can great, but if he ends up going back to the left side as long as he's a productive starter for several more years he's an A pick.

Pollard - This is his year to solidify himself as the true starter.  The safety we drafted is going to put some needed pressure on him.  Even if he gets beat out we need more than two safeties and he can be a great special teams player.

Croyle - He can single handedly make this an A draft or a C draft.

Herm - I think he's going to be around for awhile as long as we don't repeat last years performance.

Maxey - I don't know if you can call 5th rounders or later a bust, because you don't expect as much from them.

Stallings - You can't play with just 5 starters on the oline you got to have reserves.  With waters gettting up there in age he'll get a chance to compete for that spot down the road.

Webb - This is his final evaluation year to get a starting spot.  I think he'll be beat out by Franklin, but he can be a solid number 3 I think.

Page -  With what I said about not calling late round picks a bust that holds true as long as you hit on a few of them.  The Chiefs hit with this one he was a steal in the 7th rd.

7 picks -  4 starters right now 2 of those have to prove themselves this year.  Stallings/Webb willl have there chance to start.  I say its a pretty good draft if 6 out of 7 are still on the team wether they are starting or providing good depth support.

The big draft question is going to be at the end of this season and it will be grade the 2006, 2007, 2008 drafts as a whole.

I gave the draft an A.   Whenever you can get 4 starters from a draft, I think you've done real well.  Now that could turn around if Herm has another terrible year or if Brodie sucks, but just being the optimistic, dumb ass I am, I give it an A right now.
