Well Finns first goal was a joke (no goal) But still Team USA at the end showed no class at all Gave all of Hockey a black eye just a childish reaction to a loss. too bad the youth of the team showed promise.

What the crap was that?
How did that goal count? Seriously. I just hope that this won't tarnish the tourney with respects to it being held in Canada. That's bull crap.
I was actually rooting for the US in this one. If the US would have won, Canada would have been assured 1st place in the group. Well, it is what it is I guess. Canada faces Finland next.
How about Esche (sp?). He played a great game today.
GO CANADA GO

Gotta love people who jump on and laugh at any of the smallest bit of American misfortune, even if their country wouldn't exist if the Americans had persued fleeing british across the niagra durring the revolutionary war. Or if the U.S. cut off all trade with Canada.
Coming on the website of an American broadcasting company to laugh at the misfortune of an American hockey team simply shows how classless and idiotic you are.

Dude it was a hockey game lighten up. The goal wasn't a goal we all know that so whomever thinks the USA should have won this game keep that in mind, also as said before the Fins have a solid team it's not like they lost to Germany or Kazakstan, no offense to those countries. We don't need a history lesson as we have all read the same textbooks as you have, if you want to teach get a degree and find a school, yes this is an American website so does that mean I should bow to you and thank you everytime I sign in? Don't think I will.

Hahaa exactly what Three said. You dont see Americans making threads talking trash about Canada very often but when these Canucks have a chance to do it to Americans they jump all over it. It's hilarious because they are all brainwashed to hate Americans. Funniest thing is, most dont know why. I've been to Canada many times and let me tell you, it's NOTHING to be cocky about.
Your football, baseball, and basketball sucks and you dont have any pro team in the playoffs in the NHL left, so you have to resort to whatever you have left which is pretty much nothing. Good job of proving your jealousy.

...right...
Anyways, back to the controversial goal.
tsn.ca/canadian_hockey/story/
"After the game, the IIHF agreed that Finland's first goal entered through the side of the net and said the goal-judge was fired from the tournament."
Good stuff, in my opinion

Three and black, you guys are idiots. He started a legitimate thread, saying the game was a joke, and he wasn’t lying. The US team blew a 2-0 lead by taking stupid penalties and generally playing like $hit. And to top it all off, they show a complete lack of class by starting a brawl after the final whistle. Nowhere in this thread, other than by you two, did anyone say “the united states suck” or make any negative remarks about your country, they were talking about the hockey team. You guys are the ones who started bashing countries, so before you start calling other people classless, maybe you should look in the mirror. It seems to me that you guys have a little bit of an inferiority complex, don’t worry, we all know that the americans aren’t any good at hockey, it’s okay, we forgive you. And before you starting crying about how it’s only us teams left in the playoffs, don’t forget that those 4 teams combined probably have like 2 american players, and like 50 canadian players. And you can go on about baseball, and basketball and all that, but the rest of the world is catching up to you there to. The American league cy young would have gone to a canadian last year if eric bedard hadn’t gotten hurt, 2 years ago, the american league mvp was canadian, and lets not forget steve nash, back 2 back nba titles. And please, teaching us about the revolutionary war on a sports website, get a life.
