No outs... Man on second... pitcher up to bat... what do you do?  If you're Ned Yost, you have him swing away, record the first out, and fail to advance the runner, and give up the run that would have been knocked in by the next batter.

IT'S CALLED SMALL BALL, YOST.  Not all of you runs have to come from HR's.  I'm not in the "Fire Ned Yost Club," but the more this team stumbles over itself, the harder time I have staying off that bandwagon.  If the Brewers are not over .500 by the end of the month, or they're not within 5 games of the division lead at the all star break, then Yost will be looking for work.

Maybe he should stop telling people to wait 'till the bats come alive and start manufacturing runs like a good manager will.  I'd rather him try and fail than sit back and wait for the long ball like he seems to do.

big brewer fan here....

isturis in the 9th...and walked... is he not the worst batter in the national league... throw him strikes and see what he does... the last thing you want to do is see Pujols in the ninth with runners on base...it seems simple to me....
