The Bucs need to acquire Josh Fields ASAP, he is currently injured and wont be full strength for a couple months. The White Sox look like they have settled on Joe Crede at 3rd, Fields is young and cheap and will add some pop from the 3b position for the Bucs.

Josh Fields  would be nice to acquire but don't we have a 3B in the minors who could come up next year? Neil Walker would be blocked if the Pirates acquire Fields and I think that we could use a SS slightly more. 

Also Joe Crede is only signed through this year and is an injury risk.  I do not think that Fields would be that inexpensive to acquire from the White Sox.

Are you guys crazy? I have heard Fields as being the next best thing for the Sox. They will not give him up because Crede will want too much loot after this year. Also, the Pirates have no one to make trades for. Also, anyone hear of Neil Walker?

On another note, way to turn down a Bay-Lee trade to Cleveland. what's his record? 5-0? ERA? 0.88??

i dont jow bout tht trade? we dont neeed another pit. snell ,duke dumatrait,gorzo r copmin round real nicely, i jus dont like tht bay is also doin good this yr., C. lee hAsnt showed me enough for a top rankd OF.
