It kills me to see these chump writers with their opinions that hit so close to their respective homes. The saying "don't throw stones at glass houses" would come in right about here!

CBS Sportsline writer Mike Freeman attempted to get hired at the Indy Star and had made it thru the interview process and was given the job...until they decided to double check his creditials and discovered he had lied on his resume.

He claim to have graduated from some school in Delaware and in fact had to "resign" a job he never officially started.

Thats not all, while working for a Florida paper, one of his articles ended up causing that particular newspaper to get sued.

So I ask is forgiveness so bad and has it not happened to all of us. And if our justice system is set the "correct" way then is Kobe Bryant really a rapist?

Find a mirror before you write these articles man, you are more of a chump than any of these athletes. At least they will be remembered for something!

While I also often disagree with the CBS sportswriters, I prefer to direct my responses to their articles and blogs.  No need to get personal in this forum...heck, shoot him a private email while we continue to post our sports comments to this site.

If the writers can personally attack players, why cant we personally attack them? They are posting this on  a website visited by alot of people so they arent considerate to the personal attack on players.

Oh, I see. Freeman can bring up the rape charge against Kobe, which not only was he innocent of but it never even made it to court because his accuser was a gold-digging, lying slut. But bring up something from Freeman's past that ACTUALLY HAPPENED and all of a sudden we're getting "personal."

Wow. What a double standard.
