There is no doubt that they are a bad team, but this could bring them closer together as a unit. The 5 stages of that a team goes through is forming, storming(check here for fight), norming, performing, and adjourning. If I know one thing, Ray Ray will have this team come together. I want them to improve, I miss the close games, right now it's not even a challenge.
Stribe23, you have clearly gone through Interpersonal Skills, or some variation at the college level. I have just gone through that and I think it's funny that we all learn the same things at different institutes.
Anyway, I totally disagree with your Baltimore> Pittsburgh statement, at least at the football level. Sure, you guys may have played well against the Steelers the last two or three seasons, but we have been pretty even for the last decade or so. That's what makes a great football rivalry, no matter how good or bad a team is, their biggest rival will always give them a tough game. I'm glad the Steelers and Ravens have each other to keep them in check because the Bengals and Browns prove to be a joke year in and year out. I respect the Ravens more than any other AFC North team because you guys have at least won something recently. The Bungles haven't won a playoff game since the first Bush administration and the Browns can't beat the Steelers...ever it seems. I don't like you'll, but I respect the defensive presence Lewis, Suggs and Reid have. You guys tend to be the least delusional and most realistic of all of our AFC north counterparts. Sure, that's like being the smartest kid on the short bus, but here's to a good rivalry for years to come. I hope you guys aren't too bad for too long because the Steelers vs. Ravens game is usually pretty good.
Let them bond while playing against the Browns, not us. I would enjoy seeing Ray Lewis pummel Kyle Boller unconscious on the sideline of Heinz field, after Boller throws his third pick of the day.
I saw an interview where Boller was talking about helping out Flacco and teaching him all he knew. That should be the hope of all Steelers fans worldwide!
The Ravens and the Bengals will compete for the bottom of the division. Unlike the Ravens 1st draft pick, Ben played at a D-1 level, not D-1aa. Not saying Flacco wont be good but we will see if he can move a team the way Ben did in his first year.
