	Terms were not disclosed on ChicagoBears.com but Gould did say "I'm really excited. I'm excited to stay in the city of Chicago and be a Chicago Bear."

	That's nice news, Robbie Gould is a reliable K, just hope he signed reasonable contract, and that cap hit won't be too hard. The easiest re-signing is done, next are Tommie Harris, Devin Hester, Mark Anderson and Brian Urlacher, it would be great if Bears could re-sign (or re-negotiate) them all by the start of the 2008. season, so they can go into the season with no worries, solely focused on teams success.

	I like this signing. Robbie Gould has been really solid and has a pro bowl under his belt. I like it. I do wish the Bears would take the cuffs off of him and let him try a couple of 50 yarders. It seems the Bears are reluctant to let him try these. Good as Gould!!!!!

	I don't know that we need to worry about Mark Anderson quite yet. See what Dan Bazuin looks like this season first. Tommie Harris and Devin Hester as "musts" right now as is Brian Urlacher. 	Udubdub hit the nail right on the head. Urlacher -is- locked up under contract. All we have to do is re-negotiate it. Harris and Hester are respectively priorities number 1 and 2.

	According to Comcast, it is an extension for 15.5M over 5 years with $4.5M up front. This make him the highest paid K in the NFL. I like Gould, but I think the money is a bit rich. But, hey, the guy has been 85% for his career with half of his games on the windy lakefront. Dependability and nailing big kicks cannot be over valued I guess.
