Kobe,unce again, is named to 1st Team All Defensive squad. So the tally goes--- 6 First Team and 2 Second Team....
Lebron,unce again, is left off the list.
Now Cavs fans I would like you to reiterate why Lebron is anywhere near as good as a defender as Kobe....Remember, this award is voted on by NBA coaches

Because Kobe is currently a better player? Hell that seems like the most logical reason to me.
I'm a cavs fan, but I know Kobe > Lebron right now. Within a year or 2, it'll change.

Ummm no... cause Kobe is a great defender and Lebron is not. Kudos to you though for realizing Kobe> Lebron. I dont believe anything will change in the near future cause I dont forsee Lebron developing a jump shot.....At what age does one come to terms that they will never be a great jumpshooter.

Kobe was due for MVP, did he have a better season than LeBron? no, not by a long shot...was Kobe the best player this year? no, LeBron was...Kobe got the MVP cuz frankly he coulda had it 4 or 5 times already, he has been the best for the past few years, but the best player doesnt alwasy get the MVP award....let me ask you bhes, sure Kobe has scored 81 pts in a game, but has he ever taken on a team as great as the Pistons were last year 1 on 1 and beat them, scoring the teams last 25 pts, including all 18 in OT? no, LeBron's played at a level Kobe has never even touched, but thats just one game, IMO LeBron is better than Kobe now, he sure isnt showing it shooting wise in the Boston series, but hes playin great D on pierce and gettin assists, blocks, steals, rebs, hes playin great all-around ball and giving his teammates easy open shots with his drives...in the future LeBron MUST develop a better outside shot and hit more FT, but id rather have him than Kobe

When was the first season Kobe averaged +25 points, +7 assistes, +7 rebounds? That's right never. Not until his 5th season in the league did he average 25 points. In Lebrons second season he averaged over 27 points, 7 assists, and 7 rebounds, and he did it again this season.
I dislike Kobe but I give him credit he did deserve the MVP this season. He learned how to play TEAM basketball.
And as far as D goes yes KOBE is better than Lebron. Lebron has had major issues vs. Boston and at times I yell at my T.V telling him not to shot the ball. But he is playing a good all around game vs. Boston and one of the games he will break out and score over 30.
Lebron is young and he will improve in all phases of his game. If he plays for another 7 years, LOOK out his number will be higher than KOBE in almost every aspect of the game.
GO LEBRON and GO CAVS.

Dude one of the biggest myths in the NBA is that LeBron doesn't play D. Who held Kobe to 1of 7 shooting in the 4th quarter of the Cavs Lakers game? Who's been give Paul Peice nightmares all series. LB scored more points on less shots then Kobe, grabbed more boards, had more assists (as a SF positionno less), and swept Kobe head to head this season.
Is LeBron better then Kobe? I don't know, but don't sit there and act like it's out of the question.

Paul Pierce is a better defender than Lebron since He's giving Lebron fit's this series. According to Milkdud's logic Pierce iz great defender and should be defensive player of the year. Who held Lebron to 2 for 18 in game 1? pierce....Who held Lebron to 6 for 25 in game 2? Pierce. How bout game 3? 5 for 16. And game 4, 7-21...
Is Pierce better than Lebron? I don't know. But don't act like it's out of the question. Plus Pierce team had a better record than lebron.

I don't know if he's a complete idiot, I must give him credit. He sits in front of the computer alot to make up for no friends. You almost feel sorry for him. Probably the black sheep of the family with a history of getting his ass kicked.
