Kobe's back must be hurting from shooting so much.  Not just last game ( 33 shots) but for the entire year.  You shoot the ball that much, it's going to catch up with you.  Can't be from anything else.  Can't be from getting banged around.  Look at Lebron, he's been getting thrown to the floor all the time and he is getting up and not having press conferences saying he has a sore back but plans to play.  Hey, great players play through everything.  Remember Jordan having the flu?  Did he hold a press conference and say I'm sick but I'll be ready....nope, he just went out and played.....Kobe needed to do the same thing!

Hey Einstein, Lebron avg. more shots than Kobe for the whole year! And it wasn't a  scheduled press conference specifically for him to announce his back problem. It's a league mandated press conference. All players must be available for questions!

True, you have me on both accounts but they are making such a big deal about it....Kobe can suck it up and play just like the rest of the greats did (Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc....)

But Lebron did cry about the Wizards trying to hurt him in a press conference.  And isn't this the same Lebron who sat out 6 games with a "sprained" finger while Kobe hasn't missed a game with torn ligaments and a broken bone in his finger that requires surgery?  Lebron is the last person you need to bring up in a comparison of toughness with Kobe.

The media always make  a big deal about the greats when they are injured! They need a story line and they are running away with it, just like Jordan and the flu, Magic and his hamstring, and Willis Reed. They wouldn't have jobs if they didn't.

Hey moron! Lebron sits down for 6 games with a bad finger let alone play with a bad back he will miss 8 to 12 weeks.
